Second on our bike-brewery hop adventure was a little place named Funkwerks. We rolled in and sat outside on the patio high top table. Our poor server was not prepared for us. Our initial greeting was me screaming and arm-flapping because a spider was attached to Adam’s shoulder. After explaining she seemed to understand.
I like things straightforward, most of the beers were dubbed by their style instead of a kiche name. I also like humor, and their pairings made me chuckle. I chose the APA because it pairs well with “making your mark” and it was delicious. When Adam asked what my mark was, I stated hopefully it wouldn’t be my face on the asphalt again.
