Sandra’s Pick: Hooksetter IPA

Jake’s Pick: Speckled Loon Cream Ale

A spontaneous motorcycle day trip to enjoy the last nice days of fall before the inevitable cold set in led us through the small towns of Minnesota. We saw the sign for the brewery from the road and we love spontaneous stops on the bike to explore towns so we decided to stop and see what this brewery had to offer.

The taproom was cozy and all the beers sounded amazing. Indecision led to a shared flight and a few more complimentary tasters. This brewery knows what it’s doing, all the beers we tried were fantastic but I ultimately settled on a pint of Hooksetter IPA and it hit the spot. Jake and I both agreed that even if motorcycle season is winding to a close, we should visit again before we leave Minnesota.
