Jake’s Pick: Outback Amber

We were thoroughly head over heels for Bend…figuratively and soon to be literally. It was my idea to bike the river trail through town, hitting breweries as we do. We made it from one end to the other and stopped for our first beer stop at Bend Brewing.

I elected the refreshing golden and Jake opted for something heavier. The brewskis, the grass for Leinie, and the view of the river made for a very relaxing half-way point. As its namesake does, this brewery checked all our boxes. While we could’ve stayed for more, another brewery was starting happy hour and we were itching to sample as many places as we could. Hindsight is 20/20 and we should’ve stayed, or maybe destiny laughs and says it's all the same in the end.
