I had heard some good reviews on a brewery located in Loveland, just south of Fort Collins (our destination atm). Having never been to this front range town, we decided to explore and hit up this brewery. Loveland was lovely and I was swooning. The rumor on the street was that Verboten had some award winning drafts which I was itching to sample.

So one of the award winners was not currently on tap, the other (an oatmeal stout) was. However, the 80+ degree, sunny weather made me sweat just thinking about a heavy beer like that, so I chickened out and went with their Maibock. It was amazing. I guess I will need to come back in hoodie weather to try the heavier fare. Bummer (said dripping in sarcasm).
