While I love food, and will eat just about anything put in front of me, dairy holds a top spot in my heart. My favorite thing to eat is ice cream, followed closely by cheese. So while we meandered up the Oregon Coast, to my utter joy we came to the town of Tillamook. It is home to the creamery of the same name, who makes my favorite cheese block that I get from Costco.

We learned all about the cheese making process from literal start at the dairy cow to the completed, packaged product. It’s an artform just like brewing. We sampled some freebies and sat ourselves down to enjoy an ice cream flight (I just about died of happiness) and some good ol’ deep fried cheese curds. It was heavenly.
