Sandra’s Pick: First Sight IPA

Freshly arrived in Boise, we were looking for a disc golf course and brewery, possibly some showers for later. After several hours of driving and confusing one-way streets and parking not suitable to anything larger than a civic, tempers were wearing thin. Lost Grove checked boxes of local brew and close to a disc golf course. However, weather wasn’t patio friendly and the interior wasn’t Leinie-friendly so a few trips to and from the Sub had me craving a beer badly and Jake ready to quit Boise right then and there.

Lost Grove was an average brewery. It served average brews that satisfied the palate, but there wasn’t any extra wow to it. We stayed for two rounds until they opened the sliding doors up front. We were on the opposite side of winter from the locals and the mid-50’s overcast weather was a bit too brisk for us to tolerate. Would we stop again? Sure, in warmer weather and in a smaller vehicle.
