Sandra’s Pick: Swollen Ego Blonde

Jake’s Pick: Twin Bean Blonde Coffee Stout

Idaho brought us back to normal beer regulations and a wonderful plethora of breweries. I couldn’t wait to soak my liver in some wonderful craft brews. First stop after a heart-breaking frolfing day (RIP Trevor), Koto Brewing in Twin Falls.

Settling in at the bar at the beginning of happy hour, we were pleasantly surprised to find such wonderfully tasting beer as such a cheap price ($4 pours, yes please!). The blonde was just up my alley. Curiosity won and Jake tried the blonde stout and it was shockingly blonde and light looking. The double shock came when it tasted of a true stout. Jake enjoyed three and bought me a six pack of tall boy blondes ($9 for six tall boys!!) to enjoy at camp later.
