Sandra’s Pick: Pike Place Ale

I love visiting Seattle. The Pike Place Market is one of my favorite places in this country because it caters to my ultimate desire to walk to as many vendors as possible while stuffing my gullet like a turkey. I was absolutely tickled when I found a brewery at one end and dragged Jake’s “not-drinking-beer-for-while” butt to the bar for a taste.

The atmosphere is very akin to a certain brewery in Duluth, MN that uses a gravity-assisted system as well. I gleefully drank my pale ale which was a solid beer. Jake enjoyed his water (said with utmost disdain). I was perfectly content until I received the bill and choked on the $9+ print. I know Seattle is pricey, but daaaannnnggg. Do better Seattle.
