Sandra’s Pick: Nature Calls

Jake’s Pick: Sinister Black

Town chores can be boring. There’s laundry and showers, grocery shopping, etc. We were determined to not allow Bend to be boring. So on the day that rain was in the afternoon forecast, we hit the dirt early and then made our way into town for chores. Laundry safely soaking, we headed across the street to 10 Barrel Brewing.

Any brewery with a wood burning fire and warmed, pseudo “ski-huts” to drink outside despite inclement weather has my automatic vote of approval. We drank inside though, to mingle with the locals, and because we were still rather soft weather-wise from being in SoCal so long. Anywho, Nature Calls hit the spot. Jake thoroughly enjoyed his black IPA and had two. We were sad when the laundry timer dinged for us to leave.
