Sandra’s Pick: Sunset Amber

Jake’s Pick: Gin & Tonic

After a hard game of disc golf we decided to reward ourselves with a pint. Looking up the local breweries, we find one singular one in the town of Page. Grand Canyon Brewing (and Distillery) you’re up, hope you’re ready to play. They are a larger craft brewer with several locations in Arizona but a cold beer is a cold beer is a cold beer and I’m up to try.

The taproom was awesome, the perfect place to sit and chill for an hour or three. Jake tried their gin and reports that it was “very good”. Noted. I first tried the Horseshoe Bend pale ale and while it didn’t disappoint, it didn’t blast me away either. For my second I had the Sunset amber. Dang, that was a good brew. So good, I bought a six pack to take with us in the van and promptly kicked some veggies outa the way for it to live in the lil fridge.
